Gao Qiang, former Minister of the Ministry of Health, delivered a speech, Fan Daiming, Zhang Yingze, Dong Jiahong and other four academicians made a report, 21 sub-venues, more than 2,000 people attended, China's medical communication of high-quality event - the second "People's Medical communication Conference" grand ceremony.

Guided by the Chinese National Health Association, the Journal of the Chinese Medical Association and other units, sponsored by Sichuan Medical Communication Society and Sichuan Renxin Charity Promotion Association, Sichuan Taikang Hospital Suining First People's Hospital hosted the 2nd "People's Medical Communication Conference" 2023 "Doctor Benevolence" charity tour and 2023 Sichuan-Chongqing Medical Wisdom Communication Forum (referred to as "Human Medicine Conference"), which was opened in Chengdu on July 14, 2023.

Shen Ji, President of Sichuan Medical Association and former Party Secretary of Sichuan Provincial Health Commission, delivered a speech. Wu Hong, Vice president of West China Hospital of Sichuan University, Ding Xianping, academician of Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, President of the Secretary and big media attended the speech. With the theme of "Theory and Practice of People's Medical Communication", this conference is oriented to the scientific frontier, in-depth discussion and dissemination of the latest developments and advanced concepts from multiple perspectives, and the construction of a platform for medical exchange, cooperation and communication with far-reaching influence.

Gao Qiang, former Minister of Health of the People's Republic of China, said at the opening ceremony that the Sichuan Medical Communication Society held the "People's Medical Communication Conference" for two consecutive years with feelings, leading the country, especially around people's health communication, and played a positive role. He pointed out that the medicine we disseminate is different from academic medicine. It is the medicine of the people! People's medicine is medicine that the people need, medicine that serves the people, medicine that belongs to the people.

Academician Fan Daiming said that for highly heterogeneous diseases such as tumors, one-third of tumors can be prevented through screening and lifestyle changes. In his opening speech, Fan Daiming, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and former president of Xijing Digestive Disease Hospital of the Fourth Military Medical University, put forward new thinking on the development of post-epidemic medicine, in-depth explanation for precision medicine, tumor biology and comprehensive overall health plan, and organically integrated the new medical knowledge system. Medicine must be integrated and shifted in this direction, and the same is true for the treatment of cancer.

Wu Yingping, president of China National Health Association, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony, sharing her experience and thinking on the dissemination of traditional Chinese medicine, and proposing to promote the revitalization and development of traditional Chinese medicine with medical communication as a link, and enrich the theory and practice of medical communication with traditional Chinese medicine as a carrier.

Shen Ji, president of Sichuan Medical Association and former Party secretary of Sichuan Provincial Health Commission, stressed in his speech that medicine cannot be separated from communication, and it is necessary to carry out work around medical communication, adhere to the people's health first, and adhere to the care of people's health.

Ma Ping, President of Sichuan Medical Communication Society, gave a welcome speech, hoping that through this conference, more new theories, new knowledge and new methods would be widely disseminated for the benefit of mankind; Through this conference, learn from each other, make progress together, promote the popularization of medical knowledge, and improve the level of public health!

The opening ceremony also held a strong forum launch ceremony. Former Minister of Health Gao Qiang, founding consultant of Sichuan Medical Communication Society Luo Jian, honorary President of Sichuan Renxin Charity Promotion Association Hu Zhirong and 23 sub-forum chairmen cut the ribbon for the launch ceremony of the forum.

The conference consists of four main forums and 21 sub-forums. The main venue also held the People's Medical communication award ceremony, the "Doctor benevolence" charity walk, teaching materials and journal editorial board release and other large-scale activities.
